Hi.... Yes medication and/or counselling is the right treatment but you need to consult a Psychiatrist/Psychologist first to get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. Following a healthy routine in terms of proper and timely Meals, Sleep, Exercise, Breathing/Meditation will help you get back your control over your mood but to address your depression you will require professional attention.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist. CBT along with Motivational Counselling and Lifestyle Guidance is required.
