There is no one single best food which will help heal stomach ulcer but rather a variety of foods combined together in a diet will support better stomach function. You can include below foods in your diet: • Include soft foods in your diet such as oatmeal, bananas, well-cooked rice, mashed potato etc. • Include lean proteins such as soft cooked fish, eggs, skinless chicken, tofu which will support healing. • Try avoiding spicy foods, caffeine, alcohol, fried foods and citrus fruits that can irritate your stomach lining. • Include probiotic rich foods such as yogurt and buttermilk which will promote healing and balance the bacteria. • Cooked vegetables like carrots, pumpkin, spinach, green amaranth and also nuts like almonds and walnuts, fatty fish will offer anti-inflammatory benefits. Avoid fried and processed foods and consider having small and frequent meal.
