I had a sprain yesterday in left ankle due to the twisted feet now it has bluish blood clot the swelling has reduced and the pain also what does that mean

Get x-rays done. To rule out fracture. Ankle sprain needs immobilisation for 4 week with a slab or cast . Medications like Enzomac and Tendocare will help. Apply ice packs locally. Keep affected limb elevated. Do not bear weight over affected limb.

It is mostly likely ligament injury. Consult ortho doctor. Crepe bandage, ice pain killers will help. Elevation. If pain not settling walker boot helps. It takes total of six weeks to heal depends upon your grade of injury
