From the pic shared, looks like you should be able to get away with fillings rather than Root canal treatment ,but appearances can be deceptive and x ray is the way to go, to confirm .Also professional scaling and polishing would be beneficial
Hello mam If the hole is small it can be corrected by filling teeth, if it is deep need further Xray. There is more calculus which is needed to be treated mam.
Hello
Need to take an xray to see the depth of the hole
If it is away from the nerve of the tooth then a tooth coloured filling can be done but if it is close to the nerve of the tooth then root canal treatment needs to be done
A small hole in a molar is usually the early stage of tooth decay (cavity). At this stage, most cavities can be treated with a simple filling â no root canal is required unless the decay has reached the pulp (nerve) of the tooth. The only way to confirm this is with a clinical examination and, if needed, an X-ray.
Next Steps
Visit your dentist soon for a check-up. Get the cavity cleaned and filled to prevent it from spreading deeper. If X-ray shows that the decay is close to or has reached the nerve, then root canal treatment may be necessary.
Health Tips
Even small cavities can grow quickly if ignored. Brush twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, floss regularly, and reduce frequent sugary snacks/drinks to prevent new cavities.
Hello ,
First you should go for cleaning or scaling (oral prophylaxis) of your teeth and take a full mouth checkup and examined by dentist with proper x rays whether you need root canal or restoration.
Hello!!
I’m glad you are aware of your oral hygiene and want to take care of it.
You need oral prophylaxis which is professional cleaning/scaling and a full mouth check up.
So as to determine the extent of the cavities, you will have to get it examined by dentist, and also an X-ray would help us determine whether you need root canal treatment or not.
Take care!!
Next Steps
Go for a full mouth check up with your dentist.
Health Tips
Professional cleaning once in 6 months/1 year and maintenance of oral hygiene by brushing twice a day and keeping a check on food habits will also help in taking care of your teeth.
Hello, first of all, I’d like to know if you are experiencing pain, food lodgement, or sensitivity in the same region you mentioned. Based on that, we can decide the treatment. From what it seems, you may require a filling, but an X-ray will help confirm whether a filling or a root canal treatment is needed. In addition, you will also need scaling and polishing, along with maintaining proper brushing habits.

About ur cavity, consult to nearest dentist for confirmation about ur cavity...if caries reached to pulp the RCT is the option, or if caries is not reach upto pulp then restoration is enough....
