Sleeplessness
Hi, For past 1-2yrs I'm getting disturbed sleep and in the morning i feel very tired . Even if i sleep for 8 hrs with disturbance i don't feel energised. Can you please help to overcome this problem.

Your sleep time seems to be adequate but your sleep appears to be non-restorative. You need to be evaluated for sleep quality, sleep related disorders.

Since you are facing the problem since 2 years u need to get ur vitals tested to rule out any deficiency. Meanwhile start exercising fir atleast 30 mins a day in fresh air

More information is needed about issues you are facing. Assessment for depression , anxiety , substance use / withdrawal etc is needed to understand your insomnia. Please consult a psychiatrist.

Hi, what do you do in life? Are you a student or a working professional or a struggler? Sleep is the time when our thoughts are rested consciously tho they go on subconsciously. If you are in a state of stress, anxiety, fear or depression, you always struggle with your thoughts and can not sleep sound and get up fresh. There are two ways to treat it - medication, which shall put you to sleep or relieve your symptoms but till the time you keep taking the pills. Another sustained way is by meditation. Tho seems difficult at first go but it's easiest way to practice and you get sustainable results. It also gives you confidence and courage to fight your situations in life with your best potential. I can suggest one type of meditation, tho you are free to practice any. And that is Heartfulness meditation. You can go to heartfulness.org or go to Youtube video of Guided Heartfulness Relaxation which shall immediately relax you and put you to sleep. Hope this advice helps you immensely.

Pls do start writing a diary, in which you pour all your thoughts and feelings. This gives your brain some respite from those thoughts and feelings and they are still with you in a diary. Make it a practice to analyse them on paper to solve your problem, rather than solving them in the air.

Hello...u did not mention if there are any other medical issues...any way ,disturbed sleep for a long duration has to be evaluated in detail...most of the times there could be an underlying psychological issue ....so plz meet a psychiatrist for detailed evaluation and management
