Sleep Terrors
My college starts at 7:30, so I usually wake up by 6:00am. I sleep around 11-12:45 pm everyday. However, sometimes when I sleep, I remember in the morning that I woke up screaming because I thought that someone/ something is on my bed. These episodes have been occurring very randomly. The recent incident occured yesterday when I woke up screaming because I thought that something was on my bed.Sometimes they occur twice a week to thrice a year. I am very concerned bec about this because I used to sleep walk when I was a child.

Hi Usually these things are not associated with any significant psychiatric or other psychological problems, so nothing much to worry, sleep walking is common in childhood, as one grows old into adolescent and adult mostly it will subsides, so that has nothing to do with your screaming on bed now.
Next Steps
u need to practice sleep hygiene, avoiding tea & other caffeinated drinks, taking lite meals in the dinner (there should be at least 3hrs between dinner & going to bed).
Health Tips
just practice sleep hygiene, go to bed by 9 or 9:30, I don't feel you have any serious issue. thank you.

Hi, I clearly understand your concerns. It happens when you are disturbed emotionally and probably the cause for this unknown. That could be one of the reason for your sleep pattern. Though its a concern but nothing to be worried much.
Next Steps
Before hitting the bed, make your bed clean and ensure that things are in place. Consciously avoid thinking about such incidents.
Health Tips
Positive Affirmation - say to yourself every night before hitting the bed that you are having a deep sleep and waking up with a smile on your face.
