You have to assess it in front of the mirror to confirm it. If you notice that your shoulder blade is sticking out prominently then you can partially confirm it. It is also accompanied by symptoms such as fatigue and pain in neck, shoulders and back. You can also do a postural assessment to check whether you have drooping shoulder or not.

Winging of the scapula can be corrected but before that I would like to know Did you consult any doctor? How did you get know it is winging of the scapula? Do you have any nerve pain or numbness?

You should do exercises to stretch your levator scapulae muscle, Rhomboid, Pec minor stretching twice a day for 3 months. You should do pull-ups. Initially you can start with assisted pull-ups for 2-3 times.

How you got to know that it is winging scapula pain.? It can be due to muscle tightness on left side. So if the pain is severe use ice pack three times a day. Start doing isometric exercises for neck.because neck movement also play an important role in treating scapular pain. Shoulder strengthening exercises will help you to get better results. Do stretching for shoulder and neck. Pectoral stretch and trapezius stretch, triceps, biceps.to release pressure on muscles and ligaments, joint.

Avoiding repetitive shoulder or arm movements when possible. Maintaining correct posture. Using an ergonomic chair or pillow. Using shoulder-friendly ergonomic bags and backpacks. Avoiding carrying too much weight on your shoulders. Stretching and strengthening the muscles in your neck, shoulders, and upper arms.
