Check urself with orthopedician. Pain is for a long. Please avoid overhead activity and throwing ball kind of activity for the timebeing among with muscle relaxant and antiinflammatories. After assessment it could turn out to be rotator cuff tear partial one or tendinitis which needs to be treated in balance with meds, lifestyle or activity changes and physiotherapy. Please consult an orthopaedic doctor. On his advice consult a physiotherapist and follow their advice.
For pain relief : ice pack for 10 to 15 mins for 3 to 4 sessions per day, application of diclofenac gel.
Consult physiotherapist : ultrasound therapy, IFT get it done. Learn Shoulder and neck exercises - try to do each shoulder exercise like pendular exercises for 20 to 25 repetitions 3 times a day. Other for about 5 to 10 repetations 3 times a day.
Stretching and shoulder manipulation.
First you need to find out what is the cause and aggravating factors of shoulder pain. For this initially check which movement cause most of pain then let's us know. Once cause is known your shoulder will resolve in proper way....
