Sharp pain in left lower iliac region
I'm having a sharp pain in the left iliac region, exactly in the location opposite to the appendix region. This throbbing pain started all along the left hip bone from the back to the front iliac region in the morning, when I woke up, but after a bit of cold compress, the pain is now located above the frontal left hip bone where the bone dips down (picture attached and highlighted). Although, sometimes it radiates along the hip bone too. I feel better if I sit with my knees close to my chest. It pains when I straighten my feet or stand up. Please tell me what I can do? The pain has dulled now after defecation and passing urine. But it is not going.I have no fever or pain anywhere else. But I have a history of gastritis. Also I have a tendency of drinking less water as washrooms in the workplace are not good enough for use. But this has never happened to me before. Our family physician is not available so i would be highly obliged if medicines are suggested. Pls help?🙏

1.Have plenty of water (if stones are small,helps to flush them out)
2.meftal-spas for pain(do not take if any chance of being pregnant)

Sharp sudden onset of left loin pain could be due to ureteric stone.Other possibility is pain from colon, ovaries PID etc
You can get a urine analysis done and check
If inconclusive ,get ultrasound abdomen scan
Not drinking enough water is not good for you

Well with the detailed history you've given it seems like a kidney stone. The sharp pain which relaxes after micturition and combined with the fact that you don't drink water, I'm almost confirmed you've stones. You need USG to confirm the diagnosis
As for medications ibuprofen will be good...
