Shall I get family vaccinated for rabies
Hi, I am from India. I was bitten by a dog about 3 weeks ago and I got my 4 vaccine doses on days 0, 3, 7, 14. I have one more dose on day 28. I got the rabies immunoglobulin on day 3. The dog bit me on my leg which was covered by my pajama. I made the mistake of not discarding it right after coming home. It was washed along with the other laundry the next day(a gap of 15–20 hours from the bite). But in this intervening duration, my mother handled it and put it in the laundry to be washed. Now, I am worried if she got infected and hence other family members as well. Shall I get all of my family members vaccinated?

Virus doesn't survive outside the body of a living person or animal for a very long time. So nothing will happen to anyone.
