Rabies Risk - Not vaccinated
I was licked by a street dog, close to my open wound. Not sure if it was in close proximity or actually on it.
I ignored it earlier and didn't take any vaccination.
Its almost 12 days now. The dog is completely fine and doesn't look it was rabid one.
Even i have no symptoms up till now.
Am i at the risk of rabies.
Also if i get the vaccine now, will it be effective after 12 days of the incident?

If dog has picked on open wound, better take Antirabies vaccine, because the virus can remain dormant for a long time and then manifest.
