Liver function tests show slightly elevated liver enzymes and rest are normal.unlikeky to cause abdominal cramping.

It would be because of gastritis. Take proton pump inhibitors. Avoid spicy foods. Drink plenty of butter milk and curd. No much derangement in liver function tests.
