If the sensitivity is severe, take a pain killer alongwith Thermoseal RA and get the situation reassessed.

Hello sir. I understand your situation. It is good to know that you have already visited a dentist. This is an important step.the next thing is that if you feel despite the gel the sensitivity is not going you can ask for a long lasting solution. The treatment can be replacing lost enamel with a filling ( if that is the reason for sensitivity) or  treatment of other Dental issues like exist nerve exposure of tooth ( pulp) due to wrong brushing habit. Hope this helped.

Since you have been to a dentist already, I trust he/she must have adviced you correctly. But, to help you further, a few things you need to take care is- 1. Brushing time. Don’t brush for more than 2 minutes 2. Pressure while brushing- don’t apply too much pressure on teeth while brushing. 3. Brushing technique- try vertical method of brush, and circular motions instead of horizontal grinding on teeth. 4. Kindly stay patient with the toothpaste. It needs time to show effect. 5. Ask your dentist about dental-crowns if your teeth are suitable for them.
Next Steps
We can schedule a consultation if you need second opinion.
