Hi, once the root canal treatment is completed, the pain is usually not there or even if there is,it should decrease and subside within a week..if the pain increases or there is no improvement in your symptoms there is a problem..
Next Steps
you can consult me for prescription medicine and to discuss the issue a little more in detail..

Hello sir, The medication your dentist provided is for pain and healing …. But as you are telling that the pain did not subside even after taking it. I would advice you to go to your dentist and tell your concern as the pain should be very mild or gone by now and if it has not gone that simply means the root canal has not done properly. Usually in some rare cases it takes 2-3 days after root canal treatment for the pain to subside completely as the tooth becomes tender in some cases but the pain usually is very mild and bearable for the patient. Just get your tooth checked up and ask for an xray and get a picture of that xray….it will help for you to see the condition and analysed it properly as how the root canal been done . Also ask your dentist to check your occlusal as sometimes if the dentist do the overfilling it causes unnecessary pain to the treated tooth.
Next Steps
Get an X-Ray for your root canal treated tooth and take picture of it and get an understanding by your dentist or u can upload it here so any other dentist can see it and give you a actual idea of how good or bad the root canal has been performed on your tooth.
Health Tips
Start warm salt rinses after food it will soothen the pain.

Ideally after RCT, there should not be any pain. Better visit a your Endodontist/local Endodontist for treatment and physical evaluation.
