Severe lower back pain
Ever since I gave birth 5 years ago my lower back pain started. I'm also obese. 91 kg and 156 cm tall. The pain seems to be getting worse and now I can't even sit or stand or bend even o e degree forward. Not even to reach something on the table. For five years I have been sleeping on my left side because I cannot lie on my back. It is also hard to sit on chairs that lean back and put pressure on my spine. I also have a mild uterus prolapse so the pain gets worse during menstrual cycle. Lifting even moderately heavy things is out of the question. No bending. Basically zero strength in my back.

You should see a physiotherapist for proper diagnosis. It can be mechanical or non mechanical back ache. So the treatment is different in both the cases. And then start with the strengthening exercises for the back along with the stretching exercises.

Hi. Pregnancy can take a toll on the body and especially the back as it creates a lot of stretching of your abdominal muscles that usually support your back. If you feel your pain is above a 7 from 0-10 where 0=no pain and 10=extreme pain, you should definitely consult a physician first who could help you with medicines to relieve your pain. Once your pain has settled you could start with muscle strengthening with a physiotherapist and over a period of time also work on reducing your obesity as that would also reduce the pressure on your spine.
Health Tips
Would also suggest to consult a gynecologist regarding the prolapse if you haven't already.

Ma'am as in your case, you first need to visit neuro physician or ortho doc for medicinal treatment. With this you need to take Physiotherapy treatment atleast for 20 days to reduce pain and stregthening lower back muscles. After 10 days of physiotherapy treatment, you can start with strengthening exercises and also you need to reduce your weight in order to avoid future knee and ankle pains.
