Sciatica Pain
I have pain from my left back going to the Hip and leg. Making me very uncomfortable. Do I need to go the doctor or any over the top medicine can help. Avoiding going out due to CoVid.

If the pain has been over 2 months and if the pain gets worse on walking continuously for a km, it is better to go to a doctor and get an mri, Or else you can consult online with me.

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate you  in detail. -Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or  metabolic disorder, if there is any. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Keep no pillow under the head. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. --. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold. -- .Do mild exercises for the affected part.- back and lower limbs. --.(Take help of physiotherapist or you can visit my YouTube channel Dr. N. C. This type of pain may be associated with neurological compression at spinal cord level more on left side..
Next Steps
You can start with hot fomentation,  take analgesic with muscle relaxant tablet,  apply analgesic ointment locally for pain relief and calcium and vitamin d supplement. If the pain persists even after taking medicines, you may require some investigations like X ray or MRI of Lumbosacral spine..

Avoid any heavy work, avoid sitting down cross leg, avoid Indian toilet, avoid forward bending, avoid stair climbing and descending..
