Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

Schmorls nodes may be contributing to some extent to your back pain. These develop due to an extent from wear and tear. They will not go away.
The compression of the thecal sac is again nothing to worry about at all. There is no compression of spinal cord or nerve root, which is not a cause for concern. The disc bulges if they are not compressing any nerve there is no cause for worry.
Please take painkillers to help with pain, work on improving core strength and stay active. If there is any change of symptoms or pain down your legs then see a Spinal Surgeon for assessment.
Hope this helps.

Hi...
I suggest you to kindly consult a manipulative physiotherapist who can actually try McKenzie and Maitland approach to work on disc protrution..
You can continue icing your painfully area...
Avoid forward bending activities and lufting weight and pushing weights...
You can start working on your core retraining program along with treatment..
Slowly progress to activate butt muscles...
Talk to your Physio regarding your rehab program..
Health Tips
Avoid forward bending activities..
if u wish to sit.. put a pillow in the low back area.o f the chair..... and can lean back on the pillow..taking frequent breaks makes u comfortable as u can't tolerate that position for a long time..
alternately u can lie on your stomach for a while arching back to relieve your pain and get comfortable..
frequent icing your back is a must...don't ignore..
