Hello.
I do not think it is vitiligo as its just a single dot that is not very defined as in vitiligo.
It can be pressure scar or a dot caused due to friction .
It's not vitiligo it's just skin pressur mark due to sometime water work sometime hard pressure etc the cause..don't b worry if itching and other things there then its b concious

Hello Ma'am, your concern is completely valid but the chances of this being vitiligo is less as the image presented does not seem to indicate that. On the other hand, it is important to also understand that diagnosis soley based on a picture cannot be obtained. A proper evaluation with be necessary. Kindly contact me if you wish to do the same👍
Hello practo user
The above whitish scar on your thumb is not actually vitiligo. Need to confirm all other symptoms. Kindly reach me through online consultation on 787781821five.
Based on the photo, it is difficult to confirm the exact cause. Long-distance driving itself does not cause vitiligo. The white spot may be due to friction, post-inflammatory hypopigmentation, a fungal condition, or early vitiligo.
Try to connect online with me and i will check the cause behind this white spot and will also provide you the solution for it..

A single whitish dot on the thumb from recent onset is very unlikely to be vitiligo â vitiligo typically presents as flat, spreading, well-defined depigmented patches. A single dot is more likely a minor pressure scar or friction mark from driving, a small healed wound, or a common skin change like milia or a small scar.
Next Steps
Don't worry â monitor it for 4â6 weeks. If it stays the same size and doesn't spread, it's benign. If it starts spreading or new patches appear elsewhere, see a dermatologist. Consult me on Practo if you need further reassurance.
Hello.
Please don't worry..it is completely understandable to feel concerned when you notice sudden changes in your skin, but many minor skin marks or localized scarring/friction changes are benign and very manageable.
To answer your concern about vitiligo: true vitiligo typically presents as flat, well-defined depigmented patches that tend to spread, whereas localized friction, minor trauma, or mild post-inflammatory changes from daily activities (like long-distance driving) often look quite different. However, a closer look at its history and texture is needed to give you a definitive answer.
Homeopathy offers wonderful, gentle remedies to support skin health and healing naturally by addressing the root cause. A small whitish spot is not always vitiligo. It can be caused by several conditions, such as post-inflammatory hypopigmentation, fungal infection (tinea versicolor), pityriasis alba, or vitiligo. A proper clinical examination is needed to determine the exact cause
