Hi sir...
scaling is the cleaning of teeth which removes debris , soft and hard deposits( plaque and calculus) , coffee and tea stains....
It cost from Rs.500 per sitting and Rs.300 for polishing..
Whitening is used to remove generalized yellowish discolouration,mild flurosis etc..
The whitening charges cost around Rs.5000...
After scaling and whitening some may feel mild sensitivity..

its a 20-30 min procedure depending upon the deposits.
further whitening can be done through bleaching.post bleaching slight sensitivity is common.

Scaling and polishing is cleaning of mouth which will take almost 20 to 25 mints and teeth whitening That is bleaching will take 1 hr as it have to application
And you can normal go to your work as there are not much precation except that extreme hot and cold is to be avoided
