If your teeth don't have so many plaque then it is the best time to go for scaling and polishing.. it is myth that scaling can damage your gums.. if you don't go for scaling then this little plaque will increase and that plaque will damage your gums inbetween teeth, make your gums swollen and it will make a space between your teeth after a long term.. so you should go for scaling.
Health Tips
ideally you should go for scaling of teeth every 6 month or 1 year depends on clinical view of plaque in your teeth
