Ruptured Eardrum
My mother is suffering from ruptured eardrum since long years but it is not healing she had always use cotton.. Doctors are giving medicine dialy cure but is not working.. Sometimes blood come with cotton.. What to do?? I don't know which doctor is best for ruptured eardrum.. Some people say surgery is not safe.. It will not heal.. Waste of money.. Plzzzz doctors help me Iam from Lucknow.

A ruptured ear drum can only be repaired by surgery if it's not healed for more than 2 months ... And plz be assured its a very safe surgery ... U are being misguided !! Plz consult an ent specialist

A perforation in the ear of many years will need a surgery to close it. Avoid ear .buds. Do not keepa cotton continously in the ear.
