Hello
Root canal is very safe and only treatment to save a natural tooth in its form. Your health issue is due to other reasons. You must consult a physician.

Root canals are not at all harmful, instead they are procedure for sanitation of tooth. But a decayed tooth may surely be hazardous as recently its proven that a patient with multiple carrious teeth may fall illl and is even prone to heart attacks
Google is not doctor.. and root canals are most safest procedure to save teeth. I urge you not read any article on Google.. as many unscientific, non evidence based articles are there on web.. For best root canal treatment experience.. see an endodontist who specializes in root canal treatment
Improperly treated root canals may cause reinfection. But root canals causing general health deterioration doesnt make much sense. Generally if u have a doubt in mind whatever happens u relate it to the same. There r better things to worry about in life like good eating habits, healthy lifestyle, stress control etc. Chill and live happy
Root canal treatment is one of the safest treatments in dentistry..... and the only treatment modality to save a deeply infected tooth..... your previous experience could be due to a coincidental illness at the same time or an improperly done root canal treatment..... please cancel a specialist for the best treatment options....
