Hello, Firstly check if you are able to bite evenly on both sides. If you feel that the side on which the cap is fixed is being felt first then there must be a high point which is making you feel uncomfortable. If you get your bite correctly then there will be no need to remove the cap and you will feel more better.

Pls visit your nearest dentist. And yes our clinic is also in Hyderabad.

Ceramic cap removal is normally painless but sumtimes it becomes painful if the crown remover used by the dentist is used the dentist in an improper way my personal suggestion to get it removed with a manual cap remover not with the turkey style or gun style cap removal. Cap might be uncomfortable due to overhangings or improper margins near the gums.
Next Steps
do regular gum massage around cap n warm saline rinses

Cap removal is painless.Post fixatation discomfort is due to- 1.gum space encroachment by new cap-goes on its own usually. 2.high point on the cap-new cap adjustment by your dentist. 3.Slightly tender tooth post rootcanal-usually settles with time. 4.excess cement in gums-has to be removed by the dentist.

Dear practo user Crown removal is not painful at all. But the reason has to be ascertained why you are feeling uncomfortable. Are there high points? Has the cement seeped into the gums? Is it too tight? Please visit a specialist prosthodontist at the earliest and get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.
