Yes, you can take Niftas 100 (Nitrofurantoin) for a UTI before, during, and after your root canal treatment, provided it has been prescribed by your physician and you do not have any contraindications such as significant kidney disease.
Next Steps
If your dentist prescribes additional medications (such as antibiotics or painkillers), be sure to inform them that you are already taking Niftas so they can avoid any unnecessary overlap.
Also, if your UTI symptoms are accompanied by fever, flank pain, or vomiting, or if they do not improve within 2–3 days of treatment, please consult your physician promptly, as you may require further evaluation.

Hello,
Yes, Niftas 100 (Nitrofurantoin) prescribed for a urinary tract infection can generally be taken before, during, and after Root Canal Treatment, provided it has been prescribed by your physician and you do not have any known allergy or contraindication to the medication.
There is usually no direct interaction between Niftas and the Root Canal procedure itself. However, please inform your dentist about all medications you are currently taking before treatment.
If you develop fever, worsening urinary symptoms, or any adverse reaction to the medication, contact your treating physician.
