Right wrist not strong
My right wrist feels weak as when I do push-ups, it starts paining alot, so I need to tie wrist band for it. Still pain persists. How to get rid of this? And how to get strong wrist

Use ice 3 times a day, avoid any activities which gives you pain there, you need to avoide atresst over the wrist such that damaged tissues can get healed with time, don't stop activities but do it in pain free range

Both The Things Are Not Possible Together. First Get Rid of Your Wrist Pain. Then Think of Strengthening Your Wrist. If You Keep On Pushing it The Pain With Not Go For Years. For Proper Consultation Proper Physical Examination at Clinic or A Video Examination is Required.

Hi, Thanks for choosing practo. This is Dr baig from baig physiotherapy lucknow. Avoid over burden on wrist for some days. And start stretching and strengthening exercises of wrist. I will send it personally. Avoid using wrist band because it may reduce strength of wrist muscles and ligaments. Do only strengthen exercises and after all workout start some stretching for relaxation of your wrist.

Hi Do you have swelling there? And how long have you been suffering from this pain? ~First stop doing pushups ~Avoid upperbody weight bearing exercises ~No weight lifting even with your wrist belt

Hi. If you can tell from when you are feeling this pain then I can give you better advice. You have to stop doing push ups for a while so that pain will subside. There might be chances of some sprain because of weight bearing on wrist.

you can try contrast bath therapy to relieve pain i.e. put your hands in hot water for 5 min. and then cold for 5 min and repeat this for 20 - 25 min. After complete pain relieve only you can do wrist strengthening.

Provide your wrist structures some time to get normalized from the strain that’s happening because of overuse. Reduce the activity levels for a short while and properly rehabilitate the arm structures.

Hi... For your wrist pain... firstly make sure that you have proper posture while doing your push ups. You can visit Physiotherapist for further detailed guidelines regarding correct position and posture.
