If you have been recommended extracting your wisdom tooth because it doesn't have the requires space for its accomodation. Wisdom teeth that are impacted can pose various problems like pain, infection, grow in an aberrant angulations, damage adjacent teeth, become carious etc. If you prefer to avoid extraction though, you could consider seeking a second opinion from your/ another dentist/oral surgeon and inform them of your wish. You couls also call House of Dentistry by Dr Meenu Dhiman for an online consultation. If there's a possibilty of letting go off extraction, I am sure you'll be told about it. By looking at your OPG (X-ray), i can tell you that your problem is majorly related to gums surrounding your tooth (Pericoronitis), most probably. I don't think it's carious. Secondly, you have mentioned that you are currently symptom free. I feel you can rather take guidance on how to keep the area clean and healthy.
Next Steps
It's important to consider the professional advice but as you said you are symptomfree, please wait and watch. May be you'll be able to avoid extraction!
Health Tips
do warm saline rinses thrice daily fro a week.

If your right lower wisdom tooth has been causing pain for 15 days, and your dentist has recommended extraction because it's not erupting properly, it may be worth considering their advice. Wisdom teeth can often cause problems when they don't have enough space to fully emerge or are positioned at an angle. While it's understandable that you may be hesitant to have your tooth extracted, it's important to note that wisdom teeth are not essential for a healthy mouth. In fact, they can often cause complications such as pain, infection, and damage to neighboring teeth if they don't come in correctly. Extracting a problematic wisdom tooth is a common procedure performed by dental professionals to alleviate discomfort and prevent further complications. It's crucial to have a thorough discussion with your dentist about your concerns regarding the extraction and ask any questions you may have. They will be able to explain the specific reasons why extraction is recommended in your case and address any concerns you may have about the procedure. Additionally, reviewing the X-ray is best done by a qualified dentist or oral surgeon who can assess the position and condition of your wisdom tooth accurately. They will be able to provide you with a comprehensive evaluation and guide you towards the most appropriate treatment option based on their expertise and your specific circumstances.

Wisdom Tooth's don't serve any purpose in our mouth as they are just extra teeth. On the contrary, they are epicentres of bacterial infection, if at all, in the mouth. So, its always advisable to remove these to avoid any future complications. Not removing the same is not going to serve you any benefit.
Next Steps
Get the tooth extracted by a qualified MDS Oral Maxillofacial Dentist.

As i can see from your x ray your left wisdom tooth might be troubling you right now.You may manage this with pain killers and antibiotics if you are not willing to get your teeth extracted right now,but keeping these tooth may be a potential source of infection and would keep coming back from time to time. Infact this goes with your right wisdom tooth as well. Both the upper wisdom tooth are titlted as well. This might also be causing cheek bites frequently.
Next Steps
Please get your wisdom tooth extracted as they might serve as a source of infection. This produre is done under local anaesthesia and are quite painless.
Health Tips
