Right Maxillary Polyp
Post Covid I had Nasal congestion so took a MRI as per doctor advise , The result says "polypoidal mucosal thickening in right maxillary Sinus ". I am worried is this mean by black fungus or a normal Sinus issue.

Polypoidal mucosal thickening can be there at any random time if we get a ct scan done with minimal or no symptoms ... If the mri doesn't suggest anything invasive and ur crp levels are normal then simple meds for sinusitis shall be able to solve ur pb

Polypoidal mucosal thickening in the sinus can be an incidental finding. If no symptoms present nothing to worry. Mucormycosis is most common in post covid diabetic with uncontrolled sugar. Be watchful for any more symptoms and consult if any doubts.
