Nasal Polyps in Right nostril.
I have been diagnosed with having nasal polyps in my right nostril. I consulted an ENT specialist who advised a CT scan. After seeing the scan he immediately suggested a surgery without prescribing any medications first. I find this behavior very fishy. I researched online and it seems polyps are a common occurrence. I do not want to opt for surgery. I want to first see if medicines and home remedies will help first.

Hi user, incidence of Chronic rhinosinusitis is rising day by day and we don't offer surgery in all the cases...  When nasal polyp or Polyps form then the pathway of the sinuses gets block and thus surgery is advised .... There are two types of Polyps.... When they are present on both sides it's due to allergy and thus there are chances of reccurance.... And when they are present on one side then the surgery is generally curative.... To opt for surgery or not it's your choice, a doctor can only advise you according to protocol..... You can see the medicines that you like....
