IUD is a very good method of contraception and it has wider patient acceptance and satisfaction. It doesn't require any regular contraceptive to be taken on daily basis. It has many benefits. Some can have infection and bleeding in the initial 3-6 months but percentage is very less. It can be treated with antibiotics and other medicines easily. It doesn't require always removal.
