Regarding Tooth implant
Hey, I had RCT for tooth 4,5,6. Recently i visited my dentist and she told me that in tooth 4 there is infection and in tooth 6 we need to onlay. So my questions are. 1. Does tooth 4 and 5 both have infections and does both require Re-RCT? 2. Can we have crown in place of onlay on teeth 6. Please guide me in detail. It'll be too helpful for me. I'm also attaching X-Rays

Hi if there is pain, swelling , pus discharge etc wrt 4 and 5 you need a Re RCT. From the opg attached above it isn't very clear if there is a lesion or infection. Kindly attach individual xrays for 4 and 5. It would be best to get a crown for 6 as it would give more strength cover the tooth entirely and even distribution of forces would be there.

Hi 1) If both the teeth are symptomatic then you can get Re-RCT done it would be helpful if u can share individual x ray of those teeth to see the infection 2)As i can see that the cavity is very wide onlay will not give that good strength when compared to Crown,so i would recommend you to get Crown instead of onlay for better function and strength.
