Wisdom Tooth & beside RCT Tooth Pain
I’m having pain in my wisdom tooth as well as the tooth next to it, which already has an RCT. I’m not sure whether I should get both removed or only the wisdom tooth. Also, please let me know if any surgical treatment is needed for the RCT tooth. I’ve attached the X-ray for reference.

Your age is 24 years( wisdom tooth erupt by 17 to 21 years only) ,there is no chance of eruption of wisdom tooth I also noticed that wisdom tooth is culprit for infection,it mesioangularly placed it will cause food impaction,so secondary caries in adjacent tooth. Re root canal treatment is done and surgical extraction of wisdom tooth should be carried. If there is recurrent swelling after this, extraction of adjacent tooth also be done.
Next Steps
you should visit oral and maxillofacial surgeons clinic
Health Tips
don't take self medication.proper oral hygiene should be maintained

Extraction of RCT treated tooth is necessary. It will relieve the pain, give space for wisdom tooth to erupt as well. And the lesion below RCT treated teeth will also be ridden of

As the lesion is huge ,extraction is best option with no chance of recurrent infection...if the RCT treated tooth get extracted the wisdom tooth will have space .. no need for surgical removal of wisdom tooth then..
Next Steps
get the extraction of RCT treated tooth done.. the wisdom tooth gave pressure to the front teeth so the lesion occurred. so the bone lost in front tooth
Health Tips
no need to remove the wisdom tooth surgically .. but the removal of RCT treated tooth is necessary

The Xray reveals caries /decay in both the wisdom tooth and the second molar in front of it .Also there is a big cystic lesion with infection and bone loss noted irt to the second molar. Re root treatment will not resolve that big an infection! Extraction of second molar and surgical removal of wisdom teeth is the only choice here, along with debridement .
Next Steps

Hello, kindly get a CBCT to get a more accurate extension of the infection with the tooth in front of the wisdom tooth. It would also help in determining the nerve position in regards to the wisdom tooth and the infection as well. The wisdom tooth does require extraction, whether RCT or extraction of the tooth in front of the wisdom tooth would be determined by the extension of the infection, may require surgical removal of the infection.
Next Steps
Get a CBCT
