According to the history you provided, you are already immunised prior. So now for re-exposure, you need to take only 2 doses of ARV intramuscularly. One today and the second one on 3rd day. You might have to take a shot of tetanus toxoid vaccine. Hope I could help you. Take care! - Dr. Kaustubh Kulkarni.

Good question! As per Latest Protocols, if the vaccine exceeds 3 months, you should take the full course ie. 5 doses or 4 doses depending upon which vaccine you are taking; Essen or Updated Thai Red Cross.
Next Steps
TAKE ALL 5/4 DOSES LIKE BEFORE. NOT TWO DOSES! I REPEAT! NOT TWO DOSES!
Health Tips
Consult a doctor before administering the drug.

Since it's been more than 3 months, assuming you have taken full course of arv injections, you require two booster doses 3 days apart.

I’m sorry to hear about your situation. Since you’ve been bitten again, it’s crucial to seek medical attention immediately. Here are the steps you should follow: Clean the Wound: Wash the bite area thoroughly with soap and water for at least 15 minutes. This helps reduce the risk of infection. Seek Medical Attention: Even though you received the full post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) in February, you may need additional doses of the rabies vaccine Report the Incident: Inform local animal control or public health authorities about the dog bite. They may need to monitor the dog for signs of rabies. Rabies is a serious condition, and timely medical intervention is essential. If you have any symptoms like fever, headache, or unusual behavior, seek emergency care immediately12.
