Given your previous full course of anti-rabies vaccine (ARV) earlier this year and the recent exposure, you’ve taken the right step by getting a booster dose. For re-exposure, the standard recommendation is to take two booster doses of ARV12. Since you’ve already taken one dose, you should take the second booster dose three days after the first one Here are some additional steps to ensure your safety: Wound Care: Continue to keep the area clean and monitor for any signs of infection. Hand Hygiene: Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water, especially after touching the affected area and before eating or touching your face. Consult with me -It’s always best to follow up with me to confirm that you’re following the appropriate protocol and to address any additional concerns. It’s understandable to feel worried, but following these steps and consulting with me should help ensure your safety.
