Sir, if dog's saliva or any other thing having rabies virus is there on any inanimate object (like iron lock which might or might not exposed to air) and after 48 hours and a child touched it and then unknowingly he touched his eyes then is there any fear of rabies????? Is there any fear if any cat has recently licked it or poured saliva on that object ???

Rabies can't transfer when skin is not broken But if the saliva of rabied dog /cat is directly in contact with our body fluids like blood Any body secretions then there can be chances of spread of rabies.

Not possible... Viruses are dead outside the body, they need a media to stay alive, in this case they're not even alive. They'll be inactive
