Prolactin level
Hi. My prolactin level is 32. Is it a serious elevation or mild? I have pcos too. How do i reduce prolactin level naturally?

Prolactin is a stress hormone also and slight elevation is seen even after stimulation of breast So repeat test in next 3 4 days after avoiding stimulation... if it's still high then we give meds for 4 weeks

Yes it is mildly elevated ,you need to undergo your thyroid test also ,to check your TSH levels. If TSH is abnormal we need to treat it. Slightly increased prolactin and Pcod may affect your fertility.

It is mildly increased.You have to take medicine for it. PCOD is lifestyle disease.You have to follow healthy lifestyle. Do daily exercise and yoga. Avoid refined carbohydrates. Take fibre rich diet. Avoid cold drinks, packed juices. Morning walk daily. Both PCOD and raised prolactin causes irregular periods and infertility.
