Pregnancy issue
Got diagnosed with incompetent cervix after preterm delivery at 24 weeks in this year May '22. Doctor advised to wait for 3 to 6 months to try for next pregnancy. But recently on July 13 got a positive pregnancy test. So went to the doctor for the advice and further guidance. She advised me to abort the pregnancy due to less pregnancy gap as she said uterus is already weak and not healed properly. Kindly advise what to do should i abort or what to do..Also facing little bit spotting in this pregnancy but did an ultrasound scan yesterday which showed sac, fetal pole with cardiac activity of 104 bmp.

In this situation you need not undergo abortion..If it is destined to abort let it be spontaneous. Our aim should be to prevent abortion at any cost. You need hormonal support and complete bed rest with foot end elevation.Dont be hopeless..Get ultrasound to measure cervical length and if require we can put stitches for same.
