Currently i am 28 week 6 days pregnant. I had scan at 27 week 1 day where AFI was 10.1 cm and all other parameters were matching gestational age with foetal weight 1.1 kg +/- 15 %. My gynae said afi is borderline and started me with argipreg sachets 6.5 gm twice a day .. and is asking to get steriod injection for lung maturity at 29 th week. Also i feel my belly is small and i doesnt feel heavy , can it be because of less liquor..?? Also till now i have gained 6 -7 kgs weight in total with pre pregnancy bmi of 25. Should i get scans done every 15 days to monitor fluid level? As i am really worried and me on complete bed rest due to incompetent cervix .. and this is my second pregnancy as i lost my first one at 24 weeks due to cervix problem.

You should get a sonography done every 15 days. You should continue with the Arginine sachet. I think it is a bit early to take steroids for lung maturity because if you don't deliver within 2 weeks of steroid injections, it will have to be repeated.
You should take adequate rest so that the pregnancy progresses to at least 32 weeks. Hope for the best.

You should get sonography after every 15 days.. continue sachet...moniter daily fetal movements count ...take rest...wait to reach your pregnancy at least upto 32 wks then you can take steroids injection... but if liquor volume becomes very less then you can take steroids injection before 32 wks..

AFI is fine. But baby is small (IUGR) than what it should be at 28 weeks.
Next Steps
Connect for further plan. Only argipreg sachets wont work. You need aggressive management to increase baby’s weight. Nothing to be worried about though
