Cervix length at 20 weeks
Hello, Recently i had my tiffa scan at 20th week. And my cervix length is 3.5cm. Doctor suggested for stiches to avoid preterm delivery. How will be the process. Is it necessary for 3.5cm cervix length and and should i admit the hospital for the process of stiches.. will it be painful. Please suggest n guide me. This is my first pregnancy.

Stitch is given only if the length is less than 2.5 cm and you had previous preterm labour. Otherwise no need of stitch
