HbA1C 6 to 6.5 is prediabetic And More than 6.5 is Diabetic As your report suggests July you were prediabetic but now you are diabetic, fasting and post pranding can be normal but HbA1C is diagnostic. If you were focussing on Lifestyle modification and diet from July to October and it is still high then it will worsen if treatment is not initiated. Before starting anti diabetic drugs, multiple things have to be considered like comorbidities, family history, weight, lifestyle.
