It is very important to remain fit after delivery
But pls do not diet now as baby needs nutrition as u must be feeding the baby.
Lactation itself is a way in which the body starts shrinking to come back to weight before pregnancy.
What should be borne in mind is there is an age old saying, ‘ Eat for two when u r pregnant or lactating’
U need to definitely eat more what is important is do not eat heavy meals with too much fried stuff, buttery foods eat normally adding in more green leafy vegs and fruits and have 2 to 3 serving of milk products like milk, curd, cheese or paneer.
Mild exercise starting off with 15 to 20 mins of walk and slowly increasing it 40 to 45 mins by the end of 4 months.
