Platelet count
My platelet count used to be between 190 to 240 k throughout my life. But ever since I had Dengue in March the platelet count reduced to 70k and then to 110 and then finally 140k. In last 4 months it's stable at 140k should I worry that it is less than my previous counts.

After a dengue infection, it usually takes a few weeks for the platelet count to return to normal values. Platelet counts often drop during the acute phase of dengue fever due to the destruction of platelets and the bone marrow's decreased ability to produce them. The recovery time can vary depending on the severity of the infection and the individual's overall health. In most cases, platelet counts begin to rise within a week or two after the fever subsides, and they usually return to normal levels within two to four weeks.
