Pyorrhoea is a very common dental problem that we notice in our dental practice. Coming back to your question about saving the teeth, it entirely depends on the amount of bone loss and the degree of mobility. If these factors are favourable then it might be possible to save the teeth by doing a through scaling and curretage to reduce the localised inflammation which would be followed by splinting.

Splinting can be done. But I'm not after thorough scaling. Totally depends upon the degree of mobility.
