Period lighter and short duration
I have always had regular and normal periods. This month the flow is lighter than usual and only lasted 2 days. 3rd day, it is very less. Usually, my period lasts for around 4 days. Is it normal ?

Hello, You can do the following things- 1. Blood tests like- CBC, HPLC, Iron Profile, Serum Prolactin, Thyroid Profile, Fasting & PP sugar, HbA1C 2. Ultrasound (lower abdomen & pelvis) 3. To see whether you are under constant physical and mental stress/ have some chronic illness/ condition. 4. To see whether you are taking any medication for some chronic disorders (like psychiatric medications, some kind of hormonal therapy, chemotherapy, etc)

If this is just one episode , then it might be due to temporary stress . If it persists then do hormonal evaluation.
