A grade one tear of PCL is highly likely to get better with a knee immobiliser for three weeks, followed by good physiotherapy and quadriceps strengthening exercises

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).

Hello, first of all I will suggest him to go for surgery if required even it's a grade 1 Injury because he is  very young to bear this type of injury . There is a hope to recover after rest, immobilization and medicines but in future he can't put all his wait during brisk walk or running. After 50 years of age some of Surgeons don't suggest for surgery in that case.
Next Steps
go for medicines, rest for 3 weeks atleast
Health Tips
No Knee movement, Avoid squatting, avoid standing and walking. Apply cold packs. No exercises for 2-3 weeks

Hello, PCL grade 1 injury will not create much of trouble like ACL injury. Don't need to worry.
Next Steps
ICE REST Medication for couple of weeks. Consult a Physiotherapist for Quadriceps strengthening exercises. If rehabilitated well, strong quadriceps will compensate the function of compromised PCL.
Health Tips
Avoid Running, Deep squatting and any sports activities for 6 weeks.
