Hello, Based on your description, the episode sounds much more consistent with a panic/anxiety attack rather than a heart problem. Symptoms such as sudden light-headedness, feelings of losing control, mild chest discomfort, hot flushes, sweating, fatigue, and fear, especially in the background of long-term stress, hormonal changes after D&C, oral pills, and health anxiety, are very commonly seen in panic attacks. Allergies, sinus congestion, and acidity can further mimic chest discomfort, which makes panic feel even more frightening. At 37 years, without known heart disease, and with symptoms occurring at night and settling on their own, a cardiac cause is less likely- but your fear itself is understandable.
Next Steps
• Consult a psychiatrist or physician to address panic symptoms, anxiety, and low mood • Work on stress reduction, sleep regularity, and breathing exercises • Continue follow-up with your gynecologist regarding hormonal medication effects

At first do not overthink as you have discussed with your gynaecologist Symptoms that you have mentioned are suggestive of anxiety plus physical weakness & exhaustion Following D& C, it's common to feel low, lethargic since there is loss of blood, fluid from body If Symptoms persist more than a month, sleep disturbances too, impairing your daily life, functioning you can consult a Psychiatrist too You must take good healthy diet, fluid intake, fluid fruit rich diet, 7-8 hour sleep in addition to medications that prescribed by your gynaecologist

Hi What you experienced can feel extremely alarming, especially after a D&C, hormonal medication, ongoing allergy symptoms, and prolonged emotional stress. From a psychological perspective, the combination of sudden lightheadedness, feeling of losing control, chest discomfort, heat sensation, sweating, fatigue, and intense fear strongly fits a panic attack triggered by a sensitized nervous system rather than a heart problem. Hormonal pills can create bodily sensations like nausea, heaviness, and fatigue, and when the mind is already under stress or low mood, these sensations are easily misinterpreted as danger, leading to panic. Heart-related issues are usually persistent, exertion-related, and do not fluctuate with anxiety or reassurance, whereas panic attacks peak suddenly and are driven by fear and bodily scanning. Your ongoing worry about whether it was a heart issue is also part of the anxiety cycle and can keep symptoms repeating. Therapy can help you regulate your nervous system, process recent medical and emotional stress, and rebuild confidence in your body. Take therapy.
