Pain on the patella
For the past 2 months I have been experiencing a pain on the lower portion of the patella of My left leg(not the patella tendon). I've been actively involved in football and working out. I have been going for physiotherapy but I've experienced no improvement in my improvement. I've had a history of Osgood schlatters disease (last year) which was solely caused by my tight quadriceps due to heavy squatting. I have been experiencing pain while climbing stairs, squatting or even getting up from a chair. I can also feel as if there is some growth or ossification on my patella when i compare it to the patella of my right leg.

You need to use foam rolller for front of thigh for a good time , better to meet a physiotherapist and go for functional evaluation , then go for manual therapy session, this will help in improving the movement around knee by keeping it stress free
Next Steps
visit a sports physiotherapist
Health Tips
Focus on flexibility in cool down period.

Hi, instead of taking directionless physiotherapy consult a qualified doctor, who can diagnose your problem properly. Your body weight is on higher side and probably you must be having infrapatelllar bursitis.

For immediate releaf do foam rolling on quads & IT band. Do eccentrics of quadriceps (see youtube).  Do not strengthen quadriceps. Do more pelvic bridging / reverse clam shells for a month. Slowly progress to squats, lunges, dead lifts IN SWIMMING POOL BEFORE DOING ON LAND. All squatting, lunging, dead lifts must be done very slowly especially the negative phase. Do not climb stairs for a month. Good luck.
