Pain just below ribs and upper back
I have been suffering from sudden ongoing pain below ribs and upper back. I did a chest xray as well as a ultrasound abdomen and nothing was detected. All reports are normal. If its a case of gastritis or inflammation, what are the treatments to this and how long is this pain going to be there? I was given pantop 40 once a day, mucane antacid and buscopan for pain. Please advise

You should continue with the treatment advised. To find the exact cause of your symptoms you will have to undergo a lot of investigations. Lot of money will be spent for no useful purpose.
