Pain in the upper jaw
I have a sudden pain in left upper jaw ,eye and fore head with a cold .I thought it was a sinusitis but went to dentist she said there is a cavity beside wisdom teeth so need to remove it and infection is also there due to which you are having pain.she prescribed clavam 625,zerolac p,pan d.am having antibiotic since 2days still having pain in upper jaw. Is there any chance of filling instead of removing teeth.please suggest me as am feeding mother

Get iopa of decayed tooth. Based on pulp involvement, tooth has to be filled or retreated or removed. No problem in removing tooth,in case of feeding mothers.you can consult through this for further details

Based on the xray that has been attached , We see that there is no complete loss of crown structure. In such cases we can definately try to do a filling and save the tooth . Upon removing the cavity if the pulp i.e the blood vessel of the tooth is exposed we can go ahead with a root canal treatment and save the tooth.
Next Steps
avoid hot foods as they will increase the pain.
