If it still persists, consult a orthopedician in person for further evaluation and management.

In my advice you should take rest first.dont use laptop mobile and heavy work .10 min hot fermantation than isometric exs of cervical spine in supine lying position.light needing massage on trapzius muscle than cold compression by ice pack for 10 min.it will help you . correct your posture to while sleeping and sitting. If not reliefes than consult to orthopaedicen.
Spasmic pain can be due to incorrect posture, prolonged sitting. Age is another factor leading to degeneration of cervical spine. Both degeneration and weakness of muscles needs physiotherapy. If pain is too much and acute then u need rest and medications.
