You should take some hot water fomentation and the stretching of the neck muscles (specially trapezius), take rest at home... Go to a Physiotherapist get the ultrasonic therapy,  TENS and hot pack with some stretching and strengthening exercises.  You will get relief for sure . And plese correct your posture, avoid neck bending(prolonged),  use of Mobile, laptops should be avoided for sometime and avoid cold exposure like AC cooling.

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  You could take a tab. Zerodol-th 8 twice a day after food for 2 days. If it still persists, consult a orthopedician in person for further evaluation and management.  Detailed history, clinical examination and some tests would be required.  Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.

Spasmic pain can be due to incorrect posture, prolonged sitting. Age is another factor leading to degeneration of cervical spine. Both degeneration and weakness of muscles needs physiotherapy. If pain is too much and acute then u need rest and medications.
