hello, you can do warm salt water rinses as a home remedy, but this will give only temporary relief from pain. you need to get it checked and get an x-ray done. Pain could be due to wisdom tooth growing in an outward direction towards your cheeks, the best treatment for wisdom tooth is to get it removed.

Yes it's the correct opinion .Wisdom tooth growing in the wrong direction causes such problem. Please trust your dentist. We won't advise you to remove tooth unless absolutely required.
Next Steps
Add a pinch of salt to warm water and rinse with it three to four times a day. It will help with the pain.
Health Tips
If u do not wish to remove the tooth, you may ask the dentist to grind the portion of the tooth which is hurting the cheek. It will only provide you some temporary relief. But my advise would be not to delay and get the tooth removed ASAP.
